Ye Olde Renaissance Festival

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival with some friends. It apparently is quite the big deal. There is a permanent facility where it is held, complete with jousting fields and quaint shops. We attended The Joust and ate at various food establishments. Did you know that funnel cake and crepes are from the middle ages? And yet, you had to pay 21st century prices....Hmmm...
